Offering a personal service, I have been maintaining private gardens throughout Northamptonshire for over ten years, since 2011 in fact, under the guise of Well Planted. I beleive that having this set up alows a good relationship to form between the client and myself which ultimately reflects on the garden.
Quite often you will find many people offering gardening services. Unfortunately many are unskilled and seasonal. These ‘gardeners’ will cause more damage to your plants, soil and garden by applying wrong techniques such as pruning that can take years to rectify and can rob your plants of flower, shape and form.
Taking professionalism seriously, I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, The PGG and The Gardeners Guild, the latter in which my registered buisness details can be found. I have public liability insurance for upto £5M and carry a low tier waste disposal licence for green waste. As of December 2019, with new government legislation on plant health, I am also registered as a professional operator. This legal requirement allows me to supply plants for your garden from registered sources and helps protect and prevent new plant diseases entering the country.
Pricing varies with each unique task required. As a guideline, a general daily maintenance rate would be £250.
Currently I have a full diary of regular clients but if you would like to go on a waiting list in case any space becomes available please let me know. Alternatively you can search The Gardeners Guild for someone nearer to you.
